Condensation

The condensation of one or several steam components of a flowing gas/steam-mixture is an important application in general industrial processes.

With the condensation of pure vapours, vapour mixtures or of a vapour/inert-mixture, i. e. partial condensation, decisive design criteria of the DEG surface condensers, such as gas velocity, condensate film flow as well as the geometric parameters, that is fission width, height and length of the plates are individually optimized for the application in question.

The plate geometry can be adjusted to the course of condensation flow. That makes the DEG surface condensers a cost effective alternative to the conventional tube and spiral condensers.
