DEG Head Condensers

- Variation of accumulator
The DEG head condensers are designed for the direct vertical assembly for columns, reactors or boilers.
The gas flows laterally through the vapour duct and passes the heat exchanger, is deflected at the column head and then enters the condensate chamber. Here it flows through the free spaces between the plates.
In case of partial condensations commercial considerations may require a two-stage installation with different types of cooling fluids.
After a settling section, the condensate is collected under the distribution header for the cooling fluid. The remaining inert gas is discharged through the residual gas outlet.
